Invisiware® Threaded Swaging Stud

This peice is swaged onto the end of the cable and used with the Invisiware® receiver. When used with the Invisiware® welded receiver in a metal end post, it becomes a stop-end (non-tensioning end) fitting that is completely hidden inside the end post. You can also use the Threaded Swaging Stud alone, drilled and tapped in an end post as the stop-end for your cable assembly.

The threaded surface is coated with a baked-on molybdenum based dry film lubricant, to prevent the threads from binding when tensioned and in extreme environments.

Invisiware® Radius Ferrule

Often used in combination with the Invisiware® receiver, this fitting is also hidden inside the end post with only the head exposed on the outside of the post. When installed, it looks the same as the Invisiware® receiver except it costs much less!

Ultra-tec® Clip-on Stop

Ideal for use with cables that are cut and the fittings are attached at the factory by American Structures & Design, Inc. Intermediate posts can be drilled for the 1/4" stop to pass through. No field swaging is required. A special clip and washer secure the stop to the end of the cable and can be installed by hand.

For swaging at the factory, determine the hardware to use on the tensioning end of the cable, then check with America Structures & Design, Inc to determine the cable lengths to be provided with the swaged fittings attached. Stop, washer and clip are included. Available for 1/8" and 3/16" cable only.

Ultra-tec® Fixed Jaws

Attractive non-tensioning device. Often used with Adjust-A-Jaw® tensioner on the opposite end, because it is shaped to match the clevis style end on the Adjust-A-Jaw® tensioner but costs considerably less. It can be used on level runs and on stairs and severe pitches.

The Fixed Jaw is the shortest and most streamlined clevis fitting that is available for its stated cable size. While it is ideal for stair pitches, it is also a very attractive fitting to use if you're looking for the "high-tech" look of exposed stainless steel hardware on levels runs as well as on stair pitches. The Fixed Jaw is held onto the cable by our swaging ferrule. The swaging ferrule fits into the counterbore of the Fixed Jaw after the swaging ferrule is attached.

Ultra-tec® Clip-on Fixed Jaws

Same as the regular Ultra-tec® Fixed Jaw (above), except it is installed by hand with a special clip. All hardware is swaged on the cable at the factory, so there is no field swaging necessary. Allows you to order your cable assemblies pre-fabricated from the factory and install on site by hand. Use with a tensioning fitting on the opposite end. Available for 1/8" and 3/16" cable only.
